Filler6
And the new characters brought to life (as it were) through the magic of pen and ink (rather than necromancy). These panels are from the upcoming scene. But who’s that other character with them? She looks familiar… And where are they? Hmm….
I have 4 pages completed now, so it’s going okay ๐ I’ll hopefully start up again soon. Working on a pinup for Patreon right now but that should be done in a jiffy-then I’ll be plowing on into page 5! ๐
Cool scene, looks like a steampunk kinda town. Sure there are more misadventures to be had here.
Thanks ๐ Yup-should be a lot of fun ๐
dang girl did you fall to pieces for me because i did for you (and wow i would love to see a gentle breeze blow that top out of the way and dang those pants…. she has it going on!) the gentle mancer with her seems fun like the kind of buddy you bring to a party and chill with. and cant quite place the final character with them??
I really love the vest! It is a bit precarious. That’s what I love about it XD
Frankenboobs. You know Rath will say it if/when he sees her.
Or ‘Boobenstien’ ๐
o_O will she have nipple pearcing nuts and bolts?!?!?!!? be a hell of a barbell (sexy!!) https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51mJnRUcn7L._UY395_.jpg
Hmm-she could do…
I have a quick question, what are your rules on magic in your little universe(Mind you, never used D&D magic.)? And a follow up question, what is your rules on summoning (IE, summoning\raising the dead, and summoning spirits or things like that.(Badgers!!!))?
Do you mean the rules as in ‘how does it all work’ or the rules as in ‘what’s legal’? I assume the latter-in which case-there are basically two types of magic. Most spell casters and creatures with magical ability manifest magic by drawing on their own reserves of power as well as drawing a small amount of energy from their surroundings-though this does not effect their surroundings (it’s not like all the plants nearby whither and die) as it’s magical energy-which is everywhere and does not generally effect other forms of energy unless it’s drawn together and manifested into a spell by a caster.
Some casters do this a little differently than others. For example wizards bind such energy at the beginning of the day when they prepare their spells whilst sorcerers tap into the magical fields that surround them as they cast their spells.
Clerics and other divine spell casters are different as they largely draw their power from very specific channels of energy-from the store of faith their deities have. The prayers and sacrifices and faith of a god’s worshipers generate magical energy which flows to the god or goddess. This god or goddess then uses the power to enhance their own strength and cast spells as well as sending energy to their clerics so they can cast spells. With the clerics all using magic in this way, more faith is generated and so more faith energy is gathered. That’s how it used to work anyway-most clerics have been less eager to use their powers in recent times and the central churches have begun to demand gold from the people in return for their services…
Summoning varies depending on what you’re summoning. Summoning a badger would either summon a celestial or fiendish badger (a being made from holy or hellish energy) or might summon an actual flesh and blood badger (in the case of a druid or nature cleric). Although a druid can summon actual animals they would not normally do so to aid themselves in battle (as they would not wish to see the animals harmed). Instead they would summon ancestral animal spirits which they would manifest into a physical form with their magic-more like a ghost warrior wearing a temporary magical body.
….*Mind explosion, followed by mind implosion* Got it…this is why I dont use magic..one, dangerous, two, confusing. But I got it! Sheesh Zeen..you got your work cut out for you..
I don’t think Zeen worries to much about all that stuff-he just waves his hands and says strange words and magic happens. The why of it is of none of his concern ๐
i know this is breaking the chain of good/great questions but
that white haired one looks familiar, is she that duskblade you drew many years ago? or was it what character you had in one of the early chapters (1-3) i think her name was Dark Ace or something.
(o_O)
Also King is certainly infatuated with her its a shame she doesn’t share that sentiment ๐
Dark Ace? Hmm-I don’t remember that. I think the only Dusk Blade so far is Vaznev (though I could be wrong).
im not sure about the name Dark Ace was correct i just recall that it was the strip with the introduction to Cardinal Blanche and she was with him as his bodyguard or something, i also found that one deviation that reminded me of that woman;

sorry if i confused you in anyway, didnt really mean to do that to you.
Ah yes-you mean Noire -she’s one of the finest blades in the world (though she hasn’t had a chance to show off her skills just yet ;)).
Okay guys, i was reading al these comments in the shadow,i don’t know if you are playing but…. but now it’s too much to bear : wanna know who is the unknow female ?
It’s simple, look at her, she :
-has white hair
-black eyes with blue iris
-black clothes
-seems pissed easily
Ring any bell ?
It’s f****** MOROZ, but she is (i assume) under an illusion spell to make her look like a human to be able to walk in the city without being harassed.
I will eat my keyboard if i’m wrong on this one !
When you said โFrankenstein was the creator-NOT the monsterโ on the last page, I got curious about it, because I didn’t know its actual name, and according to Wikipedia Frankenstein is indeed one of the names the monster has been given later on. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankenstein%27s_monster
Also thanks for telling me a few pages back that a remove poison spell would indeed work. Well, if you’re going by D&D rules that Zeen can’t use that spell, because it’s a divine spell (and because it’s level 4), then there might still be the cheap level 1 Ray of Enfeeblement out there. Granted, it won’t do much against the characters of yours that have DBZ’ish power levels, but any halfway normal fighter should be able to feel it if they get drained by 1d6+level (max 1d6+5) STR per round.
