New page! Rata and Topo show their true colours. A wererat and a weremole! 50% taller (so about 4’8” or 148cm) and a good deal stronger and faster than their base forms πΒ They have special runic marks that bind gear to their various forms-Hence the new clothes π
Rata’s tail cover has a special armoured tip that increases the grip strength and allows her to wield a weapon. Nevertheless, I gave her a razor sharp slashing weapon that didn’t need to be too heavy and could rely on her ability to spin and slash with her tail in wide arcs. The length of her tail also lets her slash at areas she wouldn’t normally be able to reach such as the throat or face. Her other blades were based on the British commando knife.
Next page SHOULD be ready for Wednesday as we’ve entered that phase of the month again. See you there! π

Oh shoot! Lycanthropes! Sweet. I think the theme of this adventuring party is “Transformations”
It seems like that. The clue for Rata and Topo was in their names π
Mole! Mole! Moley! Moley! MOLE!
Anyone else get that reference? Oh… Just me? Ok…
Don’t say mole. I said mole. I’ve heard that some people consider ‘Gold Member’ to be the weakest in the series but it’s actually my favourite one π
Eh, Gold Member kind of was the weakest of the movies, but that’s like saying sake is weak compared to vodka. They’re both strong enough to get the job done in the end.
Of course these things are just down to personal taste, but in my opinon GM was the best of the three. The first one felt a bit reigned in and ‘safe’-As if Myers knew what he wanted to do but was being limited by executives (and perhaps by self censoring) to make sure the jokes were as broad as possible and worry about everyone ‘getting it’. The gags were more obvious (as in they went through all the most surface level Bond/Spy gags) and simple and were telegraphed/explained more to make sure everyone was on board with them.
The second film was better to my mind and had more obscure deep cuts and sureal nonsense as well as better sight gags and the like while the 3rd film took what the 2nd film had begun to the next level. Eg-The tent silhouette gag from the 2nd film is dialed up to 11 in GM with the medical scene. Yes, it’s the same gag, but it goes from a small chuckle to being one of the funniest scenes in cinema (n my opinion) because it’s taken to such absurd levels.
Just what I think of course. I know the prevailing opinion is that GM was the lesser of the three. For me though, it was not inferior. It was actually superior. It just left a lot of people behind because or the extreme and surreal nature of a lot of it π

Again-This is just what I think. I don’t consider it to be the ‘correct’ view by any means XD
And of course Goldmember had Michael Caine as Austin’s father. π
Where did Topo get her glasses from? I know the runic mark but… She did not have glasses in another outfit nor in her “base” form.
She wasn’t a mole before. I suppose it’s to make up for the decreased eyesight. π
They are also sunglasses which help with bright light for a kobold/weremole. Plus they look cool when combined with a fez π
