Filler8
The final piece of filler-a humble tea room. This prop took a very long time to make. Brick is not the quickest thing to draw 😉 What’s up with the white bat logo though? Seems to crop up a lot…
New page will go up next Wednesday 🙂

Oh, good, I needed a drink after my little freakout. I just hope judging by the sign it isnt made of bat droppings..
…. i want to sing now 😀 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpvdAJYvofI also yea i can here there slogan already you would be batty to drink any were else! or maybe dont hang around drop on by and get a bite at the o positive cafe you will see our drinks dont suck! (and grate work on those bricks any way to crop out a section or two for directions so you can drop in for other buildings in the future to save your self some time?)
Good-though I would modify is slightly to ‘You’d be bat tea to drink anywhere else’ 😉
I doubt I could do that-trying to make it work and make sure the perspective and the like was correct would probably be more trouble than it’d be worth.
I tend to make a lot of background props that I can re-use (see above) , but this in itself can lead to a slight compromise in terms of composition. On the plus side it allows me to produce more pages than I’d be able to if I just drew and coloured the background each time.
Splitting things like backgrounds into too many modular sections can end up creating more problems than it solves though. Making pages in pieces and then assembling them (as I do) also requires a certain degree of planning and thought. If I need to shrink an item or character down too much for example, the lines become too thin and you cannot tell what’s going on.
So-modular scenery taken further than I do now might seem attractive but there’s a limit to what you can do with it-at a certain point you find yourself making too many compromises on quality in the name of efficiency-if you get what I mean 🙂
Hey, can I request permission, to run through the streets of the town (Once its all finished) and EXPLOOOOOOORRRRE~. I promise I will come back! (Eventually)
I’m going to allow this 🙂
