New page! The mighty Bear admits defeat, bit Tiger steps up! Maybe I should have made Pinky lion themed instead? Ah well-I can have a Bear and Tiger vs Nemean battle at some part for full ‘Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My’ advantage 🙂
Why is Yeshka so calm? Maybe she has a trapdoor that will drop Tiger into the sewers of Midgar?

you tell her Pinky! these guys are at the very least Bing’s perhaps even fire fox! though they definitely don’t have edge installed and they are in a forest so maybe Safari?
Rath used to be purely microsoft. Until the Tanuki god upgraded his operating system 😉
Indeed now he has that ‘Chrome’ buffing.
Well !! You’ve offered yourself , Bear : i hope you’ll have great fun with the cock plant ? Now to see how they’ll defeat Tiger ? Opposing her to Bork ?
If Bork ever wakes up that may happen. They need to make a REALLY big noise, I suppose 🙂
question abought 5E if a player multiclass into a class that has different stat saving through proficiency will they get the bonus for those stats? example sorcerer 1 fighter 1 giving strength proficiency. or do they only get Light armor, medium armor, shields, simple weapons, martial weapons
You only get the save proficiencies for the first class you take. If you multiclass you get most of the class features (HP, class abilities etc) but not the saves of the new class. You also only get a limited number of the new class’s proficiencies when you take your first level in that class. In the 2024 version of the rules this will be detailed in each class.
It’s important to remember that Proficiency bonus is based on total character levels. So a Rogue3/Fighter2 would count as Lv5 (and therefore have a proficiency bonus of +3).
Multi-classing can be quite effective as most classes are pretty front loaded with abilities, though in a longer campaign it will mean missing out on some higher level stuff that you would have gotten if you’d stuck to one class.
cool thanks for the info ill let my player know the verdict
i have a similar question if a sorcerer took a level into cleric life domain then leveled up in sorcerer until they could unlock twin spell would they be able to use twin spell for cure wounds or healing word? basically they would be sorcerer 3 cleric 1
As far as I can tell a sorcerer can use metamagic on any spells that they know. Twin spell impacts spells that will affect multiple creatures if the spell was cast at a higher level. It would not work on healing word or cure wounds as (according to the 2024 PHB) those spells increase the amount of healing they do when you cast them at a higher level rather than increasing the number of targets. It would work on ‘Bless’ for example, as that increases the number of targets of the spell when cast at a higher level.
This is all 2024 rules of course. It may be different if you are using an older version of the rules 🙂
ah i see i was under the impression it was restricted to spells that target only one person and let it target 2 but the description is a tad confusing. here is the the description i got from rol20. Twinned Spell
When you cast a spell that targets only one creature and doesn’t have a range of self, you can spend a number of sorcery points equal to the spell’s level to target a second creature in range with the same spell (1 sorcery point if the spell is a cantrip). To be eligible, a spell must be incapable of targeting more than one creature at the spell’s current level. For example, magic missile and scorching ray aren’t eligible, but ray of frost is:
so taking that in consideration your verdict would still prevent it from being used. also thanks for your continued help this is informative and some of the wording and loopholes leave much to be interpretation.
Yes, I think that may be the way the rules used to work in the 2014 version. Which is valid to use still, but it’s probably better to stick to all the 2024 rules if that’s the version you’re using 🙂
No problem. I’m not an expert but I’ll do my best to help out with the rules if I can 🙂
Yes I’m fairly sure shard tabletop uses 2014. So it seems like it should work then in your opinion?
If you’re using the 2014 rules then you can twin any spell that would normally target one creature and has a range greater than ‘self’-So yes you could twin Cure wounds etc. That said, cure wounds does 2D8+caster stat in the 2024 rules so I suppose it’s swings and roundabouts.
I think I prefer the 2014 twinned spell rules as they are a lot more useful, though perhaps also more open to abuse.
Thanks for the help I think my player will be happy as that should let them use that for protection from evil on two people in theory.
