Welcome back, Dungeon Punks! To another thrilling installment of BTB! Or at least half of one. A demi-installment. I cut it in half so I could make it slightly higher def and so that I could try to catch up after completing and very complicated page for Patreon. Suffice to say the other half is coming!
Here Darksoul thinks back on the options that were explored in his hunt for the perfect EVIL heavy infantry unit.Which would you go with for your elite heavy infantry? The lizard, the rat of the crab/cheetah beast? Or something else entirely?
All three seem like pretty good choices. I expect these gals got cushy jobs in Bao’s division. That’s where the flotsam and jetsam of the military tend to end up. The ‘Super Justice Rangers’. Who may need to be deployed soon if Mortubera’s resurrection is to be prevented. But we’re getting a little ahead of ourselves there… 😉
Please back me on Patreon if you can. The more dollars I get, the more time I have to make art :)-Â Â Â https://www.patreon.com/ByTheBook
Also you can chuck me a buck or two on Ko-fi if you’re feeling generous.  https://ko-fi.com/spacegoblinart
Finally, please comment below! I love hearing from my readers 🙂

lots of tails! i think the chetah girl might have had a chance if she was fused with a preying mantis though not as sexy as some mixtures she would have at least come with better natural weapons and not have need for equipment cutting down the cost of gearing up the hoard.
That’s a good point. If you can engineer in natural armour or weapons then you don’t need to worry so much about having to supply those things. That said, big stabby claws instead of hands do sacrifice a certain degree of tactical flexibility and natural armour whilst might lead to a greater caloric requirement for troops than if they didn’t have such impressive physical attributes. I suppose it’s a balancing act. Power balanced with flexibility and logistical practicality 🙂
