New page! That first step’s a doozy! I wonder where they’ll end up? And how they’ll bust out? Meanwhile we return to Goret and co! Turns out Goret is a shower AND a grower. Luckily his brain doesn’t require very much bloodflow to opperate at full capacity 😉
I’m a bit behind on things, so the next page will probably have to be next Sat. I should be able to get a couple of double page weeks in after that though 😀

Well, that certainly is a “creative” solution Goret. Still I am impressed Kislata can hold on with just all that weight down there, truly a strong warrior that one ^^
Kislata is just holding her staff above her head to prevent it from getting damaged by the fire. If you look at Gorets hands in the last panel he’s not holding onto her but giving her a boost to keep her out of the worst of the flames. At least that what it looks like to me.
Yes, that’s right-Her staff is magic (+2 Acid (D6 acid damage extra)) which makes it very useful and rather expensive. Magic items are normally more resistant to flame or any damage than their mundane counterparts but in this situation (where magic is being supressed) that staff is quite vulnerable. Same goes for her gloves and vest (since Goret’s ability protects the individual but not their items).
Goret is standing on the floor of the trench (which is about 80ft deep and 50ft wide) and Kislata is balancing on his raised arms 🙂 Due to the strange spiked sphere that folowed them down there, none of their magic works.Plus the area is full of chemical fire. It’s a tough spot to be in for sure 😉

Uh, I was going to ask about when we might return to Goret and his group. I of course thought you might go back to see how Vascarl is doing with his “play-mate.” It has been a while, so I don’t remember. I hope the paladin or warrior lioness is alright. She and the other one with that cult are my favorite non-main-characters so far… Well no, there’s. Tiger-stripes? I think that’s what she’s called. Goret and Yarost mother.
Ah yes-Tiger is her name. Goret’s mother (but not Yarost’s). Goret, Yarost and Moroz have the same father (Varnack the Betrayer) but different mothers 🙂
Oh, she’s not. I thought she was. She didn’t seem to be hostile towards Yarost, then she was with Moroz.
Yes, Yarsot isn’t as big a threat so Tiger’s not as bothered about him one way or the other 🙂 Moroz’s white coat is also a potentually damaging thing for Goret’s image in gnoll socierty.
Never mind! I looked back. Oh god, there was so much to look through until I found it. She isn’t, it was all the way back at 2016 on chapter 5. That’s why I had a hard time remembering.
One way to find stuff is to type the characters name (or another character that was in the same scene) into Google along with ‘by the book comic’. It doesn’t always work but it can do. That’s what I do when I need to get to older pages for a character ref. I really need to get a better archive set up. It’s finding the time. Maybe I’ll hire somebody to give me a hand with the site 🙂
