New page! The next page SHOULD be out on Wednesday! Here the tough Inquisitor Mambassa takes on Tetra, Boneyem and the three Ra’s all on her own! Will she find a way across the ravine, or will she fall just as Kislata did? Find out soon in BTB!!!

I am not sure that was more a jab at the character or more at a jab at yourself about bitching about drawing the hat
Let’s just say when animators or comic creators say it’s a good idea to keep your character designs simple, it’s a good idea to listen π
Not sure flying across is the best idea. Even if the orbs can’t have their anti-magic reactivated in time they still look suspiciously like mines to me so they may have nasty other qualities. π
You may well be right. I expect those orbs can do all sorts of exciting things π
I think I might have stumbled onto an idea that not only does it seem to be a good fit to the comic’s aesthetics, I’m gonna start using it it my games and maybe even real life if I can get the materials. It originally came from a recent “Underappreciated Historic Weapons” from Shadeversity covering the simple stick/cane. He actually made a dress cane whose shaft was strong and heavy enough to act as a pretty nasty club if needed. That made me think about how some of the smaller mace heads could pass for the globes at the top of some canes. Now that would be one way to carry your weapon everywhere and look fancy as heck all at the same time. I’m gonna start using clubs/light maces/light warpicks (depending on grip shape) reskinned as fancy canes for some of the more noble characters in my games. I may even make one for myself irl even if I never use it as a weapon, since it would still look fancy as heck.
Sounds good π There’s also the option of the sword cane. I ran a monk a year or so ago that was a self described ‘gentleman adventurer’ and he did all his fighting with fisticuffs of course (after providing the enemy in question with a card from his silver card case to formally tell them who they were dealing with).
The card:
‘Sir Arthur Timbleton
Gentleman Adventurer
Ally of Justice
Foe to Evil
Fist Fighter and Explorer.
132 Mulberry Way. Baldur’s Gate.’
Now that monk sounds like an interesting fellow. I may have to make a similar NPC and add in aspects of Sir Hammerlock from Borderlands 2. Although giving out your address to potential reoccurring villains may not be such a good idea. Most villains are not gentlemanly enough to not use that information to their advantage for a cowardly sneak attack. On the subject of sword canes, as cool as they are in fiction unfortunately they are awful weapons in real life. The blade is either screwed into the shaft making it a slow chore to draw, or they use a quick release that makes the whole thing loose and likely to slip open while walking. Not to mention the hollow shaft and thin blade make both parts too weak to serve the purposes they are intended for. Nope, they do best in fiction where the “Rule of Cool” means we can ignore all of those issues.
Okay, so the sphinx, the Anubian, and Heiroachian are all named Ra?
Yes π Ra the Mysterious (she’s rather mysterious)-The sphinx, Ra the Mighty (he’s rather mighty) the gryphon and Ra Sputin (she’s rather nude). Together they form Boneyem’s attack force-Ra, Ra and Ra-Sputin.
I should be angry… but I honestly cannot at the bad song pun.

Well ; i bet on Goret throwing Kislata out of the pit in the next page , and Mambassa hitting her during the flight . Then both falls in the fire pit ^_^”
I’d never be THAT cruel. …Well, I might be π
