Phew-made it again 🙂 I wonder if Rath will learn a lesson from his current predicament? Probably not 😉

no one should underestimate the bard, they can be quite literally be sneaky, lethal bastards/bitches.
two examples are:

lol-I know. I actually like bards. They’re a very handy class to have in the party (though 4 in one party might be a bit much-hopefully they’ll just take a level each to get the musical ability so they can start their sweet band and then at least three of them could multi-class into something else).
Another example of the bard ;)- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Ohk5Swy-04
i freaking LOVED that movie! watched it many times oh the nostalgia 😀
It’s a good one 🙂
Ok, im going to watch the full movie, that seems awesome.
Four bards a bit much? But that’s enough to make a band!
Also there is the Dashing Swordsman from OOTS. It’s a prestige class meant for Bards, which has the ability:
Whenever you attack and you can successfully taunt your opponent or at least make a pun (Roleplay required), you’re allowed to use your Charisma modifier for your attack instead of the usual STR or DEX.
Hey, don’t dis bards. They will run away at you to death. (EverQuest joke, look up Fancy the Famous Bard sometime)
Will do 🙂
Oh yes, Fansy, that guy was hilarious. XD One of the biggest MMORPG trolls out there. He essentially abused the Bard’s ability to increase his speed, kited about 30 giants and had them trample all those oh-so-badass evil players. It was so funny, because that game was meant to be mean, i.e. PVP allowed all the way and therefore it probably had the biggest jerks in existence playing it and everyone played evil characters and he trolled them with his goody-two-shoes speeches. The chat logs were hilarious. 😀
lol-That sounds amazing XD

Fancy ranked in at number 4. Go go good team!
I did play that D&D online game by Turbine several years ago, they mostly used 3.5 rules. Not all the time, though, which made bards a lot more powerful than usual. Songs were a lot better since you did not need to keep playing for the effect, so you could stack those group buffs. The fascinate song effect was rather potent, not breaking under a ‘direct threat’. The heavy repeating crossbow could fire a lot faster than the standard rules would allow, so you could get your DPS that way. Plus the usual goodness, like the spells and ever powerful UMD skill. Line up those high-level scrolls.
Cool 🙂 I’ve never played a bard but I may do one day. Not generally the most powerful, but very versatile and very handy to have around. I think they do better in a larger party generally-one with all the basics covered (typically fighter/wizard/cleric/rogue of equivalents) and with lots of people to buff with their music 🙂
I call Rath being able to increase his powers because of his bunny-form. IIRC, his powers increase with despair.
Hmm-that’s true. I think he’s more pissed off than despairing right now. Maybe if a hot babe comes by asking for a goblin to bang (and only a goblin will do)-that might push him over the edge 😉
Honestly, I think the mouse looks really cool.
I like her too 🙂 I think I’ll give her a musketeer style costume with a fancy hat and rapier 🙂
Oh I can totally picture her in that outfit. Good call there.
