Goret’s mighty blow has shattered Akinitos’s armour-But will his great strength be enough to lay low the mighty warrior herself? Find out soon in BTB!
Next update will be Saturday as it’s my birthday next week so I’m allowing myself a day off! Well, most the day. I’ll probably do a bit of work. Only a bit?Β So decadent… π
After that I should be able to get a couple of double page weeks in. I have so many cool ideas for upcoming events. Just gotta get there!Β If you’d like to help with that, please back me on Patreon. It buys me the time I need to work on the comic. Every dollar counts!
Please vote every day if you can! I wanna unlock Zeenβs pinup! (That sounded ruder than I meant it to). Use the blue button in the top left!
If you can afford to and youβd like some bonus content, then please consider backing me on Patreon. Those Patreon dollars buy me the time I need to make the comic-It really does make a massive difference 🙂Β Thanks for reading! 😀
Well , i theorize the vibes of the previous strike have lowered the resistance of the armor ? Don’t be surprised , Ra-sputin : all characters of this comic are “condemned” to finish naked soon or later =^_^=
It’s possible. The shock waves cracked her shield, so they may have also weakened the armour π
Yes, ‘Realistic battle damage’ just goes with the territory I’m afraid π
I wonder how well the few (rather silly but somewhat effective) nude builds I’ve seen would stand up under this comic’s internal logic. Would they be easy to take down due to already being nude, or would they be more powerful due to not having anything to affect?
I expect somebody taking on the Tanuki god might try that. Parhaps an order of warrior monks that have trained themselves to fight naked and no longer be embarrassed. He’d either defeat them anyway (becuase they spent so long learning to fight naked that they forgot that ordinary attacks were a thing) or (more likely) he’d subject them to situations that even their training was not enough to cope with and the embarrassing nature of the situation would become too much for them π
Its kind of funny you thought about monks first for that, since the most effective “naked” build went for the exact opposite alignment requirement. It was a Fist of the Forest barbarian build. At level one that PrC grants you your CON modifier to your AC…. Your massive, massive barbarian rage boosted CON modifier. Add in Bear Warrior as recommended and the bonuses for your rage increase to those of a 20th level barbarian at level 6, as well as the form and natural armor of a bear. All of which still increase with level.
Sounds good! What edition is that from? π
Adding onto an older comment because for some reason it won’t let me continue the original thread.
The edition that build came from was 3.5. People tend to point to things like that as why that edition was overpowered, but I just think it gives far more ways to make wacky builds actually viable to use. Besides most of the “broken” stuff requires either a noob DM that can’t balance the game very well, or a weak DM that lets characters get away with anything. Frankly I just tell my players that if you make something that breaks the game too badly, I’ll just unleash something even more broken on them. I’ve got Pun Pun’s stats bookmarked after all.
Ah right-Yes, 3.5 did have some interesting stuff. You could build anything from your bog standard ‘out of the box’ fighter to all manner of near invincible monstrosities π I made a fun Baleen Whale half dragon monk once using the ‘Book of Exhalted Deeds’ animal people rules (which were really broken). As a lv 20 character he had a lot of gold so I used most of it on ‘Wish’ spells and other permanent enhancements before taking the ‘Vow of Poverty’ ability. His stats were…rather good π
Although I enjoy making monsters like that and it’s kind of shame that 5th edition has reduced the opportunity for such mischief to some extent, I can also concede that this sort of thing can be a problem if only one or some of a party are doing it while the rest of the party are playing more ‘normal’ heroes. If the DM raises the difficulty to deal with the super characters then the more ordinary heroes become little better than torch cadies while if he or she balances the game with the lesser heroes in mind then the OP heroes will wipe encounters in a round without breaking a sweat.
I suppose the key here (in my opinion) is to help out the lesser heroes a bit with items and what have you so that they can at least contribute. Also to design encounters where everyone has a chance to shine. Not to thwart the OP characters (as it’s clear the players of such characters want a chance to cause some real mayhem with their creations-And my philosophy is to let them) but to try to include a mixture of challenges so that everyone gets to do something useful.
The problem with this is that a lot of DMs are not good at dealing with these situations. They will either just run what they wrote or bought with little thought about how it balances vs the party or (just as bad) they will vindictively design around trying to make the munchkin players have as miserable a time as possible. I don’t DM much these days, but when I do I try to make games that will be challenging but above all-Fun π That’s the key to a good game in my opinion anyway π
Maybe they gets a pervy training about it , for no shame when naked ? =^_^=
Well, happy birthday Peter! So far the only one, I see as a “good-trophy” is Akinitos. The other two not so much. I see that you chosen the first option. Now maybe. No, I shouldn’t over step my… Well, if your in a good mood you could do the sec___. No-no. ;3
I may do option 2. I thought of how to do it has just occurred to me π
I think Goret is the only person who can face her considering his “special fighting style”
Goret is special in many ways π
Not quite bare, I notice, and certainly not laid yet, if ever? Certainly modest enough to be virginal, but I digress. Ra-Sputin, be a dear and fetch a mug of soap, a razor and shaving brush to clean things up. One panel to do the shave, but it should take about three pages to properly apply the foam (and show the effects of all that “brush work”). Bwahahaha!
Hmm-Those are some interesting possibilities… π
