New page! Goret lands two devastating blows and Ra’s down! He actually is quite formidable-He’s just been a bit unlucky with his opponents today. Goret’s VERY powerful and Mambassa may be even stronger (though her full power remains to be seen). Maybe it’s time for Tetra to think about an escape plan (and what she’s going to tell Mortubera) 🙂

Oh how the Mighty has fallen… And I can empathize with Ra’s pain here, I had a teammate in a campaign go down to the exact same attack. As I’ve said in these comments before, never underestimate a goblin in a fight. Especially if you are a race that is at the perfect height for them to have easy access to your “speedbag”.
The goblin monk doing flurry of blows and roundhouse kicks at ‘just the right height’ can be quite the terror 😀
Let’s hope Rath is not introduced to that tactic as A he randomly has super strength I think B he stricken me was the type that would use a knife to end it fast
Well, I guess the next page will be a continuation of Goret and Ra_the_Mighty fighting, while the girls still drooling over them. Or, we will see what Mambassa is doing and how she gets back. Hmm, or perhaps both and when Mambassa is free… She maybe ends up in a naughty position in between both Goret and Mighty and making the other girls surprised, jealous and envious of her.

It was only a suggestion Peter, I wasn’t meaning of them having sex. Just of well, what you said a sandwich. Then after the surprise of said sandwich they would continue fighting and believe me. I too want to continue the story and get out of this dungeon. So you can eventually start adding dragons and dragon-born… Or just anthro-dragons instead into this world.

Oof, low blow, but if it works it works. This is why you invest in good armor down there…That doesnt immediately fall apart….I bet a good smith is really hard to come by…at least one who makes armor that doesnt instantly get destroyed.
It can be a problem. I mean, most ordinary people have 5-10 HP. If they get hit by a fire ball or what have you their clothes will be destroyed but so are they-So being naked all of a sudden is the least of their problems.
As you go up levels and gain HP you becomes really hard to destroy but that doesn’t transfer to your gear. Some people get more resilient gear (such as magical armour) but even this can wear out over time or be outpaced in its’ resilience as the wearer continues to level up and be exposed to more and more powerful attacks.
Plus there’s healing. Adventuers heal all the time using magic or potions or from rest, but their gear doesn’t. It can be repaired in the field or taken to a workshop or even fixed with magic, but these things tend to happen far less than healing-So while the adventurer heals and grows, their gear will degrade over time-Until that critical his finally finishes it off and they’re doing the rest of the dungeon naked 😉
Thus the question should not be ‘Why do all the characters in BTB end up naked all the time?’ but rather it should be ‘Why doesn’t that happen in other battle heavy comics that feature super powerful beings (such as fantasy heroes or super heroes)?’ What can I say? I guess I’m just more dedicated to gritty realism than those other people. It’s a heavy load to bear, but I shall continue on-For my readers! 😀
Hrmmmm say any tips on what would be believable battle damage on a character that can regenerate up to a degree because I have a character that’s op like that still killable I’m just unsure what to write down as battle damage besides scars from when he has died and been brought back (way to long and complicated but each time he comes back a random person takes his place) so he keeps the scars as a reminder and try’s not to die and I’m rambling but besides missing limbs and chunks missing out of him what would be the most appropriate battle damage for him?
I suppose it all depends on how perfect their regeneration is? Perhaps minor injuries can be regrown without error, but catastophic damage that would normally result in death result in a degradation -Kind of like the T1000 in T2-Where as it takes more exteme damage (such as being frozen and shattered) its’ ability to perfectly reform starts to fail. Parhaps only injuries that would normally result in death leave scars? That way there’s a visual indicator that some wounds will leave a permanent mark without the character becoming just a mass of scar tissue from every little nick? 🙂
Near instantaneous for minor wounds impalements or arteries take a bit to fully heal head trauma depending on degree heals but no telling how it would affect his memory as his demons rebuild it catastrophic damage best that can be done is giving him enough strength for a last ditch attack to kill his opponents or drag them into a hell reality (not recommend as he has to serve out time there doing labour or fighting in a gladiatorial arena no free escapes here) now he can also carturize a wound or freeze over a broken limb to stabilise it but all healing requires mana protein and biomass depending on the wound to mana or biomass no healing though he carry’s vials of snakes blood for protein
Wow-That’s a well thought out set of abilities. Finishing off an enemy with a last ditch attack makes sense as I suppose being at the mercy of a foe is not ideal-Even if you can regenerate. They might imprison you or keep wounding you so that you couln’t recover. Needing biomass also makes sense and adds an intereting dimension to the character vs characters that can just automatically heal with no need for any form of fuel. Good stuff! 😀
Thanks not everyone understands just how much effort goes into making a overpowered character actually balanced with limits to there abilities I mean sure he can use elements and create a immunity to fire heat ice and cold but the trade off he becomes deathly weak to there opposite turning yourself into stone or diamond skin great defensively but over used you end up turning into a statue manipulation of shadows for movement and combat powerful overused dissipating in light and being unable to leave darkness until body returns to normal which is painful as your slowly regrowing lost limbs as well
I think it makes sense that in any fantasy superpowered type fight that all a combatants clothes would, realistically, get blasted off almost instantly every time.
Of course it does-And I for one would like to see more comics take this into account! 😉

It’s one way of trying to avoid the comic being sexist. I could have avoided any nudity to make it fair, but instead I went with male and female nudity. Hopefully that way readers that prefer the male form (be they men or women or any other gender) won’t feel like they’re being left out or ignored 🙂 I also try to give my female characters personalities and important things to do-The same as the male characters. Everyone’s in on the joke and nobody is only around to be eye candy. Male and female can be funny and powerful and also sexy 🙂
Great to hear! Female characters are often written not to take part both in comedy and sexuality, rather to be the subject focus of both, so it’s refreshing to see them get to join in! You wouldn’t believe how many girls appreciate a nice…speed bag.
Yeah-In my experience ladies are just as (if not more) likely to act goofy and silly and joke around as men are so I try to capture this with some of my female characters (Venom, Boa, Hathorza and Yeshka being good examples of goofballs while Kazu definitely gives as good as she gets in the teasing department). I’m not a fan of the ‘female character is serious and humourless while male characters goof around’ trope as to me it’s really not accurate. A lot of women I’ve know or still know have a great sense of humour 😀
Most definitely, my D&D characters are almost always the rowdiest in any campaign I’ve been in!

Hmm-You may be right. He’d probably be smarter too, but also with more interesting in conquest and less in fashion and trying to be a ladies man 🙂
