New page! Maxie explains about a small facet of mouse culture while Zeen has a mushroom fueled freak-out on the ground. This looks to be a fun trip! 😀

Hey I was right! Also Mice doing drugs and trying to take over the world sounds about right.
Yup-It was his old shroomy hat XD Kobolds tend to like to let things go a bit ripe before they eat them (it enhances the flavour). In this case it also created a mind altering effect. Bonus! XD
In fairness, with their level of technology water may well be potentially dangerous to drink without someone casting a purification spell.
Ah yes-That could be true. Though it’d probably apply more to the water in a big city rather than rural water (whcih was usually safe-At least when compared to the water you’d get in London or Paris or the like). The tech level of the setting is roughly 1800, though fashion and culture varies from our own world and magic also has an impact on how the equivalent of the enlightenment and industrial revolution will pan out. Also, like in our own 1800, the tech level varies greatly depending on where you are in the wolrd-Going from stone age all the way up to early steam power and industrial machinery 🙂
I mean considering there are multiple spells for summoning infinite amounts of food and water (though stuff like Hero’s Feast is 1k gold chalice spent), I imagine things would be a bit easier on the populace (depending on the effects and views on magic, as well as how common it is).
That’s true-Though magic isn’t always all that cheap. Wizards would charge money for magic as do clerics-The exception being the ‘Strolling Clerics’-An orgonisation that believes in going out into poorer communities and helping the people rather than only helping the wealthy.
As the power of clerics is ultimately derived from the faith and worship of the masses(just like supreme executive power ;)), this actually makes a lot of sense-Though a lot of priests take the power they draw on for granted and only see true value in the coin of the rich (kind of like Politicians who see the donations to run their campaigns as more imortant than the votes they need to gain office-Thus they work to further the aims of those that gave big donations rather than those that voted for them).
Ooooooh, prismatic spray! That mind altering mushroom must’ve made Zeen gain about 10 levels. Or I could be confusing “mind altering” with “brain altering” and the rainbow is just censhorship….. naaaaah!
