I dunno. Are phones out of place in this setting? They could work (some people seem to have radios). I guess they just need some sort of magical element to them. Definitely and with it reaching 700,000 people playing it concurrently it is abought to beat Hogwarts legacy and already put it in the top ten and its not even in its second week and the consul version hasn’t even released yet. hopefully their success will lead to more games accepting Naturism

I recently saw someone tweet the idea that anyone who has more than 999 million $ (including assets and stuff, obviously) should give away any surplus money to build roads, schools etc. in exchange for getting a badge/achievement that says “Congratulations, you’ve won capitalism!”
I don’t believe that’s ever going to happen, but I love the idea. Also I am generally in favor of a wealth tax of e.g. 1% per year for each $ someone has beyond let’s say 10M and I am against banksters creating arbitrary amounts of money out of thin air, arbitrarily defining that they get to own it first, and then not even ever spending it, but loaning it with interest. Seriously, capitalism is the single biggest Ponzi scam ever since because of that problem there’s more debt than money around.
It’s a tricky one. On the one hand it’s a very good system for getting stuff done and for producing a surplus of the things we need. It’s possibly the most effective system in terms of raw power and productivity as one of the main drivers of it is greed-The desire for more-And that’s definitely something that strongly motivates humans.
The downside is that if profit and growth is all that matter then although the modern system can churn out a lot of stuff, most of that stuff is useless junk (at least in the long term). A lot of it is very low quality and there is a lot of waste of resources. The system relys on demand but sometimes the things we want are bad. Or stupid. Vast quantities of a comodity are produced (eg-Fidget Spinners) and then discarded. There’s also the factor that a lot of jobs are kind of pointless. Just moving paper around to make fake numbers go up on a screen. A waste of life and energy in the persuit of wealth at all costs.
I’m not against capitalism, as although a lot of what we make is worthless, I feel like it’s still about the best we can do within the limits of human drives (driven as we are by pride and greed and so fourth) but I would strongly encourage control by bodies that are less concerned with profit. Private individuals, orgonisations and hopefully governments that are able to step in and curtail the worst excesses of corporate greed and of our own urges to gain wealth and power (and a load of crap that we’ll be bored of within a week)at any cost-Be those costs to the planet, to our fellow humans or to the progress of humanity as a whole.
So-The freedom to create and make money but tempered by government (the will of the people) that will hopefully prevent business from going too far. If you leave everything to the markets and supply and demand and free enterprise bad things happen-Likewise if everything is controlled by a central authority, there’s little motivation to innovate and strive and deal with more specific local demands. The best outcome (in my opinion) comes from freedom within a structure designed to protect people and the environment.
Well said. I agree that humans have these motivations. The problem with uncontrolled capitalism is that in the end it kills that motivation for most humans because they can never actually get anywhere no matter what they do. Big supermarkets temporarily selling some of their stuff below the value they bought it for, but only until the competition is bankrupt, doesn’t benefit anyone but the big company in the long term. I’d rather kill the motivation of billionaires to keep going than killing millions of poor people’s motivations, because the latter is where the money for the former actually comes from.
I btw. saw a video of a dude who went to Brazil. First he went to the Favelas with all the poor people and was like “I’d never want to live there”. Then he went to where the rich people were, living behind huge walls and driving their kids to school in cars that are bullet proof, and he was like “I’d never want to live there either”. So in his opinion it is beneficial to everyone, including the rich people, if the rich people share some of their money.
Absolutely! Making the poor better off helps everyone. Pay a decent wage to the poor and the wealthy will find they have better workers and better customers too. Help the poor (or rather-treat them fairly) and the whole economy benefits from it. Pay them more and they’ll spend that money on what they need, which will boost profits and productivity. Engineer a situation that makes rich peope richer on the other hand (no worker protection, no minimum wage, low wages, low taxes on big business etc) and that money will just get hoarded away.
Give a billionaire ten million bucks and he’ll just toss it on the pile. Share that amout between 1000 ordinary people who need the money and watch that community get a boost. Or better yet, just pay the workers fairly in the first place. Ultimately everyone benefits from well paid workers-The factory owner, the shop owners, the workers-Everyone. But that doesn’t happen. Because people are short sighted and selfish.
Short term gain is a big detriment to the current system. Too many people happy to make a fast buck for themselves at the expnse of long term prosperity for everyone.
hit the reply limit to to answered your question on wither they respond I’m afraid they don’t. i think he didn’t want to sexualise the nudity kind of like how nudists treat it though he did give us a sex scene with a bear(druid) but still a bear so prose and con’s. at least he doesn’t penalize our lack of clothing with poor AC you have a sperate clothing box on your character sheet and the visuals override your equipment
That’s where you’re wrong. I’ve seen the clips of the dialogue changes that many of the NPCs have if you talk to them naked. All the way to even complementing the goods if your charisma is high, and getting hot and bothered at the implications of your entire party being nude.
ahh well I must have not gotten to that point yet looking forward to it.

It isn’t the generic NPCs, its certain quest NPCs. Zelvor is listed as one, and the clip I saw (and didn’t remember to save) had a multiple different reactions you could get from this one lady depending on how many party members are nude. The high charisma thing was just hearsay though, so it might have been something I got suckered on.
