Welp-Rath&co have been in this village for so long I thought I should at least give it a name. Production on ch5 is coming along-though I currently only have two pages completed (and a 3rd well on the way) due to seasonal activities and pre-production (writing/story boarding/character design etc)-however-I think I’m hitting my stride now-so I should feel confident about setting a start date soon 😀
A big THANK YOU! to all of my Patrons! You guys really help me to keep making BTB 🙂

Ha, the foundation of the abandoned fortress looks like a stockpile in Strongholds. Very cool settlement, looks defensible, did the emperor plan to dig it into a river island?
On the other note, what do you think of Discus?
Thanks-yeah, I think that moat would have gone all the way round if it had been finished. Discus? Like the thing you throw in athletics? I’m afraid you’ll have to explain what that is to me 🙂
Oops, I messed up the name. It’s Disqus, that commenting (site?) thing, I feel it would make the commenting more accessible and better for discussions (all the other cool comics are doing it).
Hmm-I had a look-what is it exactly? Would it just be an add-on for the site to make commenting easier? Sorry-my computer skills are pretty basic XD
Something like that, it would mean that anyone that has logged in into Disqus once on any other site that uses it would be able to comment here without logging in. It also works with just having a Google, Twitter or FB account, so much more likely than people making a WordPress account (what is quite a hassle) and logging in with that just to comment here.
What I am saying is that it would make leaving a comment way easier, giving you much more feedback!
That’d be cool-I’ll have to see if I can figure out how to add it on.
I have to admit the amount of forethought and detail Peter puts into this is just astounding. His world feels like it is really fleshed out already. I admire that.
Thanks 🙂 I read a lot of history books so I try to draw on that knowledge (not that I’m an expert by any stretch of the imagination) to make my fantasy world more interesting. I try to take into account past events as well as present day function when designing a town or settlement-its history, its population and its industries as well as how it protects itself and how often it has to do so (and from what)-lots to think about, but these things are a great help when it comes to designing 🙂
