How the heck will they get out of this one?! Find out in the not too distant future! The next page returns to the heroic kobold Zeen and his efforts to free his fellow idiots/heroes for the clutches of the evil Witch Sniffer! That’ll be up next Sat and then we’ll be back to the two pages per week phase of the month again 🙂 I decied to cut this scene in half as we hadn’t been with the main cast for quite a while 🙂
Please back me on Patreon if you can. Just three bucks per month will get you uncut art from the comic (text free and steamier versions of the comic pages) and a bonus comic page every month-Plus you’ll be giving me more time to work on the comic! 😀

Stupid way? To me it looks like the whole trap arrangement is the only smart thing here for miles. 🙂
Though I do call they get out of this in a stupid way, like this:

This room is kind of based on a room I designed in an actual D&D adventure. A room with the floor being covered with holes and soot and the smell of flamable chemicals heavy in the air. The party decided to bed down in that room for the night. Sometimes players drop these little gifts in the lap of a sadistic DM XD
Jesus Christ, they had all of that info, including the smell of *flammable* chemicals and they still fell for it?
So, did anyone have enough hit points to run out of there in time?
I don’t think any of them died but it was a tough time for them. I had some flame immune monsters attack them as well. It was supposed to be an ambush area but they all decided it would be a good place to rest XD
Bahahaha it’s great to use an HP-based system.
If I assume correctly that you activated the pipes and had the lingering gas explode, how much damage did that explosion do if nobody got killed? Didn’t they have a mage or something with them?
Btw: I’m rereading the archives and I wonder: Is Goret in permanent Werewolf form for this mission?
I think I just had the flame inflict a certain amount of damage each round (3D6 maybe) which made the fight a bit tougher than it would have been otherwise 🙂
Goret has not wolfed out just yet but he is a big guy and Kislata is quite small 🙂
I see, thanks for the explanations. 🙂
