Thanks for reading 🙂
Tacos…fish tacos… ~hangs head in shame~
I think we should all be a little bit ashamed of ourselves, argentlupus 😉
Wolfmans gots nards…
I’m surprised anybody got that one-I wasn’t sure how obscure it was (pretty damned obscure here in the UK, but maybe not so much elsewhere) XD
Hehehe! I’ve seen (the latter half of) that movie! Kicking the Wolfman in the nards has got to be one of the all-time best ways to combat a movie monster ever shot on film. 😀
Yup-I always mix that film up with Stephen Kings’ ‘It’ in my head (there’s a bit where they fight a wolf man in that too-although I think in ‘It’ they use sneezing powder rather than nard kicking action).
I love obscure 80s references. Trust me Monster Squad has to be one of the MOST obscure movies from the 80s sadly.
Yes, I saw it once at school. The nards thing was the height of wit to me and my friends. Luckily I’ve grown out of such juvenile nonsense(cough…).
Although I was born in the UK and have lived here since I was 11, I was in New Zealand from the age of 3 to 11 (which isn’t a very long time really, but still quite important years). A lot of what we did at school in NZ was watch films. Lots of American educational films from the 50s-the 70s as well as actual movies.
NZ has fallen under the sphere of influence of the USA since after the war, so we got a lot of American stuff that my UK contemporaries have never heard of. Also got a lot of Anime. Sabre Rider was my favorite show back then-a show that nobody in the UK seems to have heard of.
Uncensored version anywhere?
I don’t think so, but I may try to fix that. Ask me later on one of the more recent pages and I’ll direct you to an uncut version 🙂
