I think the line that sums up Moroz’s opinion right now is “I’m surrounded by morons”.
And of course Hathoraz’s plan ended up pulling a Looney Toons. If you try to depend on cartoon logic for your strategy, you end up with cartoon style results. Although that is an… “Interesting” way to blind an opponent that Nero is showing off.
I don’t think that was on purpose, but it bought him a few seconds (and once Anthrax recovers she’ll find it harder to concentrate on hitting him).
I’m surprised that Moroz’s groin piece doesn’t vibrate, it was designed by Hathoraz after all. Also why is Linnea smoking? If vampires are immune to poison they’d definitely be immune to low grade ones like alcohol, caffeine, or nicotine. 🙂
She’s smoking because she just had sex. Although she doesn’t get a lot out of it, she was prepared to light up in support of the conventions of visual story telling 🙂
She’s just being a bad influence then! Think of the children, won’t somebody please think of the children!? …who are underground… in the lair of one of the four dark lords… and would probably have been eaten by the Bat Queen and her minions if they were in visual range of her smoking… XD

Also, like what the fuck. How is Hathoraz, Moroz, Goret and Yarost “mentor/teacher” if she can’t even defeat a single un-dead? Is she more of a strategists then a fighter?
Yeah-Hathoraz is more of a tutor than a combat instructor 🙂 She’s got some skills and she’s far from helpless, but Goret and Moroz are a lot more powerful than she is. Probably Yarost too after his recent training to control his forms and his boost in power post the battle agains the Undead Poet Society 🙂
I see we have been getting less censors from the speech bubbles…I love it.

Yep, and it only took 244 pages in and me to ask to get the censoring to stop… Man, I do feel bad for all those that start this comic to have to go through all that blue-balling.
I do blame myself, I should have caught up back in 2016 and we could of had this a lot sooner. So many great snu-snu opportunities in this comic just past by.
Your intreaties might not have worked back then though. I hadn’t gone so far down the path of the lewd side in 2016 (or even in 2009 which is when I started) 🙂 The main thing that swung it for me (other than already making lewd vote pics) was thinking of all those lewd comics and manga I’ve read that don’t show ‘the goods’. Often characters in those stories get to see everything, but we (the readers) do not-Which seems very unfair 😀
Is it weird that I was shocked when I saw the first uncensored “man bits” fully exposed and less so with the females? Maybe I am just not quite used to seeing the comic completely uncensored yet ^^ But yeah I guess it just now shows just how these fights go and how…I guess “lore accurate” these fights are now in terms of comic lore? ^^
I try to make my comic fair 🙂 If the ladies are getting naked it should happen to the men as well. You can avoid being sexist by removing the sexy stuff (as has happened in a lot of mainstream comics) or by doubling doiwn on it-Sexy men and women! I’ll probably still do more female nudity, but men are far from immune to these situations 🙂 Although I’m sure my comic is not everyone’s cup of tea, I don’t want any adult person to feel like they’re not welcome or that their gender is nothing more than a sex object.
This is why I try to make most of my characters have their own drives and ambitions and their own special abilities and powers as well as being prone to sexy situations and catastrophic wardrobe malfunction regardless of gender 🙂

Attention readers of BTB!: This is a public service announcement. Due to the events of the holiday period (lots of family stuff) I’m very behind on things. Rather than going crazy trying to catch up I’ve decided to skip a page (much as I hate to do that) so I can re-establish the tactical initiative (as they say) and come out stronger in the new year!
So, the next page (which I’ve almost finished the line art for) will be out on Saturday the 2nd along with a new vote pic for the new year! I have a pretty good idea about what I’d like to do but I haven’t decided on a character to use yet, so let me know if you have any requests 🙂
The first two weeks of Jan will be one page weeks while I get some Patreon bonus art done and then in the 2nd half of Jan we can go back to the two page cycle, and hopefully maintain the 6 pages per month schedule after that.

Or instead of skipping and kinda making the story a bit confusing. You could just go on a break, until you are ready to start again. I’m sure many of us… Well, maybe some of us, will understand if you want to do that. Everyone deserves to go on a break once in a while.
Um??? For the new voting pic. Does that only apply to patreon users? If not, even though it will be a lot of work. What about doing one with all three siblings, Moroz, Goret and Yarost in it. Or, Tanuki and Kazu. Or if you want someone new, Cramps and bat-queen.
He means skip a page as in skipping an update to make time to finish the next page, not leaving out a page entirely.

I’ll probably stick to just a single character for the vote pics as I only have so much time and I’d prefer to use what I do have on the pages themselves 🙂 It’ll be the pic you get to see when you vote on ‘Top 100 Web Comics’ (see the blue ‘vote’ button up above 🙂 ).
I should really check throuygh and see which characters haven’t been used in a while. The last few have been Ratta, A sheep warrior, Vaznev, Moroz, Beach Gnoll, Yeshka and Tiger strip poker. Maybe I’ll use Kazu? I haven’t used her in a while 🙂
