Yup! I mean, it changes animals and inanimate objects into antho forms so giving humans more animal features is not impossible. It’s a very chaotic attack 🙂

It could do anything really. It’s based on the sexual fantasies of the user so will vary from user to user and also by what mood they are in and what they’re thinking about. It’s quite hard to predict or control 🙂 The base form will generally have some impact on the end form of course. A tree (probably) turns into a sexy tree lady for example.

With so many targets, perhaps Rath should try a new attack? Might I suggest a Double Sexy Sunday.

One paladin’s righteous crusade is another races genocide 🙂 History is resplendant with evil acts done in the name of a greater good or a noble cause 😉 Ideas of good and evil are defined by the diety in question. For most, ‘good’ is defined by unquestioning obedience rather than a more universal ideal of morality.

True but in D&D and Pathfinder good and evil are more black and white defined than in real life, where pillaging a village, enslaving the populace and then burning it down is an undeniable evil act. Trying to attribute point of view into it doesn’t really work, especially in a world where the Gods are actually present and not some abstract concept. So I agree with YetAnother. Vitae should have lost that ability or had it changed to channel negative energy.
What about ‘clearing out an infestation of kobolds’ ? Language can be used to excuse acts of evil. Was it a kobold village that was slaughtered and burned, or was it an infestation of vermin that was exterminated to clear the way for good hearted, civilised folk? Guess that all depends of the god’s opinion on kobolds… 😉
Was it a Kobold war camp or was it just a Kobold village? Were the Kobolds engaged in any violent malicious acts? Without that information Your question is unanswerable. In this case we have those answers already. This was a poor farming village, not a bandit hideout so the answer in D&D terms should be clear. I’ve always found when faced with the “clear out the kobold infestation” without any context is the mark of a lazy DM. When I run a game I make all my players aware it doesn’t matter what the bestiaries say, unless it says they’re good or evil in their type not alignment, they could be anything. I just go with the black/white good and evil when I run a game because I find allowing leeway encourages rules lawyers. In one game I had a Paladin argue he shouldn’t lose his paladin abilities because he murdered/raped pillaged a village whose villagers only acted against them due to a vampires domination.
Rulebook requires the deity to also not be Evil. If the only thing Void Star cares about is obedience, then the deity is Evil and cannot grant channel positive energy. I call cheating.
Not necessarily, a Lawful Neutral god could be all about obedience to it’s dictates as well.
Yup-That’s the point I was trying to make. Morality is complicated. Powerful beings that expect unquestioning obedience(as is the case with most gods) and that divide the world into black and white need to be treated with caution 😉
Upon reflection a Lawful Good god could demand obedience to their dictates as well. The Good to Evil scale seems to define the person in questions morality but the Lawful to Chaotic scale defines how they play it out. However I still disagree about the “they see themselves as good” argument. The Gods in Pathfinder(the ones I know best) are very aware of what their true nature is and leaves little room for doubt for their followers. Asmodeus is the Lord of Hell and he does not pretend to any good inclination. Anyway the point I’ve been trying to make with my long rambling screeds on this one is best described as “Trying to fit moral ambiguity into a system that deals in blacks and whites tends not to work so well.” Vitae could believe herself to be doing good but she really isn’t, so even if the Void Star is neutral, her own shift in alignment would change her powers away from channel positive to channel negative is I suppose what I meant. Hopefully that’s clearer as I don’t think I articulated myself well earlier. Ugh now I need to clear my mind with a less heavy comment.
