New page! Pinky’s got it all! Lightning fast, hard as nails and deadly on the attack? How will they overcome this skyclad assassin?! Find out soon in BTB!
Sorry for the wait on the new page. I had to make a page for Patreon and things have been pretty crazy where I am with family stuff. I sort of took a holiday and made an effort to get some quality family time in, so production slowed a bit. Apologies š
Please back me on Patreon if you can. I know times are tough , but if you can spare a buck a month Iād be most grateful 🙂 It makes a massive difference 🙂Ā Patreon- https://www.patreon.com/ByTheBook

Just how many people does the Tanuki have following him now?
Rath and Drabble for sure. Sort of Kazu? Though in her case she’s not exactly 100% on board š
I would feel bad, but it does seem like it’s greatly over do for them to release that out side of they’re master dungeon. Their not the powerful badass’s they thought they were.
Hmm, I wonder if Tanuki is going to intervene in some way. Like he/she did with the others. š
They have been somewhat sheltered up until now. The world is a large and very dangerous place…
note to self: i may be a goblin…
Now I’m thinking of the song ‘Maybe I’m a Lion’ from FF8 but with ‘Maybe I’m a Goblin’ as Squall proceeds to do various pervy things. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNcEyY7opTI
Wow i haven’t heard that song in years but i can totally see it fitting!
Oh the heavy tree crushing reminded me i should probably ask all the fellow Dungeon masters here. my pathfinder players have taken to using the monster summoning spell to summon heavy creatures like rhino’s and such above the mobs heads since it doesn’t specify that they need to be on the ground. how would you go bought calculating the damage of a heavy creature landing on mobs?
My initial DM impulse was to try to find a rule that means they can’t do that, but if they really want to do it then let them, I suppose-Provided they can within the rules. As to how effective it is, I suppose it’s a matter of making sure that it’s not more powerful (or even as powerful) as pure damage spells of the same level-Since those spells can only really do damage vs a summoning spell that has lots of other uses.
Maybe make the damage depend on the HD of the creature and the height from which it is dropped? You could either give the target a Reflex save or have the caster make a ranged attack roll? If you wanted to be very harsh you could apply range modifiers and treat the attack as improvised and thus make the attack roll quite hard-Though I’d say keep it simple and stick to a Reflex save.
On a failed save perhaps the target takes D6 damage for every 2HD the creature has and is knocked prone? On a passed save they doge aside. They would also get attacks of opportunity on the summoned creature.
Also consider the summoned creature. I suppose they will also take damage and perhaps fall prone? Will the creature still obey the commands of the summoner if treated this way? Will they become enraged and attack the summoner? Will whatever power allows animals to be summoned allow this to continue? Will animal rights activist Druids find out about this and try to put a stop to it? There are a lot of possibilities to explore š
(On a failed save perhaps the target takes D6 damage for every 2HD the creature has and is knocked prone? On a passed save they doge aside. They would also get attacks of opportunity on the summoned creature.) i love this idea and perhaps the animal turning against them part ill have to read the spell description to se if that is possible
thank you for the help Peter i just couldn’t wrap my head around it.
No problem š I always think it’s more fun if the DM will let players do weird stuff rather than just saying ‘You can’t do that’. Just as long as you balance it right so it’s not way better than existing abilities.
Wish I’d caught this earlier, but D&D 3.5 is fully compatible with Pathfinder, and it has falling object damage calculations in its environmental threats rules. The formula is 1d6 per 200 pounds per 10ft of distance (so 400 pounds falling 20 feet would be 4d6 damage). As for the saves there are none are mentioned in that section, but you could probably use the jump/tumble rules given for a falling player to avoid damage.
Interesting! I do like some form of defense such as a save or an attack roll. If a creature can dodge fireballs I think they should at least have a chance at dodging falling cows š
indeed funny zany things make everyone laugh.
Well ; it’s not as if everyone in the comic was pervy to the point to walk naked …………. Oh , wait XD
It’s not EVERYONE-Just an elite core of brave heroes that work very hard to try to make everyone around them naked š
