I’ve decided to keep the Christmas vote pic up for a bit longer as we didn’t make the target. Maybe this month we’ll do it 😀 I should change the target numbers really-don’t want it to be Christmas all month 😉 Next page ends the scene and takes us into an intermission. I was hoping to carry on a bit longer but the next scene is just too complicated in terms of props and back-drops-so I need a little time to get things set up. Hopefully it’ll be worth the wait.
Next page is also a super double page spread to end the scene and this section of Chapter 5 🙂

Patreon’s going pretty well-if I continue to steadily rise I may be able to quit my job and do this full time-which would mean more art for you guys-more Patreon content and lots more free content too, which is the best kind (I like as many people to see my work as possible!). I should really set a target for this. Lets say $1200. If I can reach this then I’ll quit the retail job and devote myself fully to BTB and art. I’ll have to make a little each month from commissions too, but if I can maintain Patreon at roughly that level I should be okay. In all seriousness, THAT was an amazing series had a great charm, the characters were well written, and the fandom is a steadfast pillar of anime culture. It is a shame that no one revamped it for the modern day, to show people that a venerable series like Inyuasha can still wow generations to come. (i mean look at DBZ! for crying out loud!) 🙂
I haven’t watched it(just listened to the music a bit)-though I like Ranma 1/2 a lot (I read the Manga of that one), which is by the same creator. I really need to go back and read the manga/watch the anime some time 🙂

Doesn’t he just give a potion to one of them-and she’s like ‘Er…thanks?'(in my version of events). And then there’s Galadrial in Lord of the Rings-when she gives them all hunting knives except for Sam (he gets a bit of rope. Thanks for nothing, elf features!). Similar injustices can occur in D&D when the DM is in charge of giving out the loot. There always seems to be one player that gets all the good stuff 😉

Most the loot my heroes get is designed to lead to silly situations-though some of it’s just useful rather than being narrative driving 🙂
